Before the Oxford Charity Gala with Richard O'Brien popped up and said hello, this was due to be Less Vun's first full show. It was a fun night, but the turn out wasn't as good as could be expected, plus there was a pretty nasty technical problem - the film had no sound for the first hour... In true Rocky tradition, the cast carried on regardless and pulled off an excellent show on a really nice proper stage. We did the dinner scene part human, part puppet, with a puppet size table setting. Less Vun have since moved on to bigger and better things, becoming the main shadow cast for London and indeed most of England. Visit them at their website. |
