After a bit of a break following the Prince Charles Cinema stopping showing Rocky, this was the first show for CU in what was to be their final venue. About a year later CU sort of fizzled out (I don't know the ins and outs, and would rather not), and Less Vulnerable took over doing Rocky at the Genesis. The Genesis is a funky wee 6-screen local cinema, with a strong accent on indie/ arthouse films, as well as the usual standard stuff. It's conveniently located a 3 minute walk up the road from Ed's house, with a late night chip stall just outside. Ideal. |
