Electric Cinema
Birmingham

Altogether I went to three Rocky screenings at the fantastic Electric Cinema in Birmingham - this was from the second of those visits.

On this trip we filled a minibus with the Forks and trooped down on the M6. At this show I played Magenta which confused all my chums from the Time Warp chatroom no end (they were saying "hi em" to Claire who was dressed as Frank and giving them blank looks).

This was also the show where I debuted "The Monster" aka my homemade Space Magenta wig. It's too big for Layla to wear - I think she's a little scared of it.

This Jack looks downright surly. I don't know what he's got to be so miserable about. It's not like he has to work for a living - all he has to do is be played with. Or thrown around a cinema in the middle of the night.

He's even got a half decent outfit this time - there's lots of nice detail on his front - plus he has an interesting dot-dash-dash on his pole which probably means something rude in Morse code.

Flipping him over, his back features the unmistakable logo of Shell oil. With all that money behind him, even less reason to be miserable.

Grumpy bugger.
