Another card that I didn't date after the show. Dearie me. I think I worked out that it was probably from the Grosvenor Show on Friday 3rd November 2000. This was the first Glasgay! show, it was right at the end of a two month period of almost non-stop Rocky, and it was what was to become known in Fork-lore as the "Blood and Sh*te" show. An absolutely typical jack this one. Not much of interest, though I do like the mock faux-wood effect on his staff (perhaps it's covered in that sticky back plastic stuff). And the pseudo fork motifs on the braces are quite a nice touch. The back is fairly standard, but quite pretty in its simplicity. |
