This was our second visit to Perth, a year and a day since the
first, and again it was a chilly January night in the gloomy aftermath
of the new year.
A certain cast member (no pointing elbows) brought a bottle of
vodka on the minibus and by the time we reached the cinema it had
been finished, by my reckoning by only 4 or 5 individuals (NOT myself!)
On arrival at Perth there was a trip to the chippy and a licensed
grocer's for ciggies, which resulted in another bottle being bought
- and finished - before the show.
By some miracle, there was only one sprained ankle. Never, ever,
EVER drink before the show, kids....
(Ironically, this was where Martin and I did our one and only preshow
to "Goodness Gracious Me", a song about a doctor and patient...)

A rather pretty card in the "Partick Thistle" vein this
one. I like the V-neck collar and the starburst. The plain black
cloak with the Greek Thomson edging is nice too.
The facial expression is, I think, one of knowing smugness, probably
because it was not Jack who drank a litre and a half of vodka, stubbed
their toe on an inch high step wearing fairly flat shoes and managed
to sprain an ankle!
Another beautiful "lollo rosso" leafy back, with the
pretty butterfly in the middle. Sorry it's a bit squint. Must have
been the booze doing the scanning.
