"The Show We Got Blondie At" This was a show that we run "in association with Fleapit Film Club", in other words, Nelly and I booked the QM's common room (sorry, "Qudos", I'm showing my age) and the Forks turned up and did the show. Among the 60 or so other people who turned up were Bite Me Magazine, Channel 4 and four fully costumed teenage fans from East Kilbride, who would later become a fledgling cast in their own right (The Sonic Transducers) before we walked in and nicked Blondie off of them. Well, who wouldn't? PS The show was actually on Tuesday 1st June, contrary to what I wrote on the card. Relive it here. |
