This show was the first of two nights at the Odeon, Renfield St,
Glasgow (until recently, the last visit there).
We were invited there by the then manager, George Seaton, whose
surname I misheard as Seymour and we've been calling him that ever
since. He had taken over from Nick Blackburn who had put us on that
summer.
As I remember this show wasn't particularly great (I enjoyed the
following night much more) but what was memorable was two chaps
in the front row who knew our Rocky, Chuck, from Cumbernauld Youth
Theatre.
As we were short handed Chuck was sent running up the aisle after
them (bless him, he even ran like Rocky) to recruit them for the
next night. That's how we acquired Andy and the more permanent Scary
Neil.

Another vaguely Partick Thistle boy here. He has a look of intense
concentration combined with mild paranoia.
Of interest on his robes are the herringbone pattern to the left,
the "pringle" style diamond at the centre, the club suit
edging and the rather strange red "clothes peg" border
by his hand.
I also like the little twirl beneath his hair, and the door knob
at the end of his staff.
The back has been damaged as it was (foolishly) attached to a paper
backing when framed. There's no excuse for such sloppy husbandry
- I do apologise...
