After 12 years as a RH fan this was actually my first ever convention (I didn't make it to Transylvania 1992 or 1994, and the Denton Convention of 1986 was just before my time) Martin, Saff and I dragged 3 "normal" friends to New York for a week's holiday, and Layla joined us too (we had only just met her but what the hell!) The day portion of the con took place at a bondage/S&M club with some rather dubious "furniture" for us to get photos on/around/inside. The film screening in the evening took place in the largest screen at the Village East. Martin and Saff performed as Eddie & Columbia for Hot Patootie - I did the Eddie killing, face cream and an impromptu bedroom scene with another complete stranger playing Brad...

Another rather cheap looking card (the other American con souvenirs from Vegas also are a bit on the tacky side) Look at the poor quality of the printing - the crow The card also has a bit of a dog ear but that lends a credible air of authenticity, don't you think? The back is fairly boring but I like the little white detail in the corners of the border. Note the big gooey blob in the centre - that's double sided sticky tape for you (why oh why oh WHY did I do it...) |
