| This was the first show at the Grosvenor since 1994. I no longer worked there (I was at the GFT by this time) so the atmosphere was slightly better. There were shows on Friday and Saturday. We'd rehearsed a preshow - Willkommen from Cabaret, but decided to not do it on the Friday night. Just as well, as there were only about 30 people there. A far cry from the halcyon days when they needed the other screen as an overflow. And nothing compared to the incredible night we had on the eve of the cinema's closure. Another fairly
ordinary card this one. Slightly grubby but the colours are nice and strong.
I would imagine (given the tiny numbers who came to this show) that the card was probably thrown by Jennie or one of her pals. |
